Reports
Settings > Reports shows ten separate widgets on one dashboard. Two of them are adjustable (period, grouping), six show a fixed view with no filters in the interface, and two show author and social-media figures.
Roles and permissions
The entire Reports page requires the Settings role. Unlike some other Settings sections (such as AI settings or RSS feeds), the menu link to Reports is not hidden for users without this role: they can open the page, but each of the ten widgets then shows “Failed to load this report. Please try again later.” — the same message shown for a temporary outage, with no indication that this is actually a missing role and that trying again won’t help.
Adjustable reports
- Publication volume — number of posts per day, week, or month
(your choice), based on either
publication fromorpublication to(also your choice), within a custom period (default: the last 30 days). - Lead time — average and median time between the start of a post
(
publication from, or the creation date if that’s empty) and the moment it was submitted (finished_at), in hours and days, plus the number of posts included. Also has a custom period here (default: the last 30 days).
Lead time is the time between the start of the publication window and the moment the post is submitted for review.
Both adjustable reports calculate their figures in the browser, based on at most 1000 posts fetched for the chosen period — for a broadcaster with more than 1000 posts within the chosen period (in practice mainly very wide periods, like “last year” for a broadcaster publishing dozens of posts a day), the report won’t include everything. If the chosen period contains no posts at all, Publication volume shows an empty chart and Lead time simply shows 0 hours / 0 days / 0 posts — with no separate “no data” message. If the fetch itself fails (e.g. a temporary network issue), the widget shows a clear error message instead of an empty or incorrect view.
Fixed reports (no filters in the interface)
- Storage usage — total S3 storage usage, broken down by folder (e.g. images, video, audio).
- Posts by category — total number of posts per category, all-time.
- Posts per week — number of posts, fixed last 10 weeks.
- Posts by category trend — line chart of the last 12 months.
- Posts by region — number of posts per region.
- Top keywords per period — top 10 keywords/tags per month.
Author productivity and social engagement
- Author productivity — three totals (total number of posts, how many of those are published, and how many posts this month) plus a bar chart with the top 10 authors by number of posts, all-time. No posts of your own yet? The bar chart stays empty and the three totals simply show 0.
- Social engagement (Facebook) — the last 10 posts that were successfully published to Facebook, with the current like count per post. That count is fetched directly from Facebook every time you open the report (not from a locally stored count) — if that fails for a post (e.g. a temporary outage), that row just shows 0 likes instead of an error. No post has been successfully published to Facebook yet? The widget shows a “no data yet” message.
