Comments
At the bottom of every post (after all other sections of the post editor) you’ll find “Comments”: an internal comment thread for your editorial team. Comments are not visible to readers of the published post — this is purely an internal channel between colleagues.
Comments isn’t available for every broadcaster. The section only appears if the “editorial planning” broadcaster feature is enabled — the same setting that also turns Planning on or off. If this setting is off, the Comments section is missing entirely from the bottom of the post editor, just like Address book.
One continuous thread per post
Comments on a post are listed in chronological order (oldest first). There is deliberately no threading per section or per remark — every comment on a post, regardless of topic, appears in the same overview.
Each comment shows the name of the poster and the timestamp. You can only delete your own comments, via “Delete” next to your own comment. Colleagues’ comments can’t be deleted or edited.
Mentioning someone with @mention
Type @ followed by (part of) a name in the text field to mention a
colleague. Newsroom immediately shows a list of matching users from your
broadcaster; click the name you want to insert the mention.
Once you post the comment, the mentioned colleague receives a notification — see Notifications for where and how that notification arrives.
Open a post

Post the comment
